Subject Pronouns + Contractions

We use subject pronouns instead of names. Lena is from Ukraine. → She is from Ukraine. Aisha is from Morocco. → She is from Morocco. Lena and Aisha are friends. → They are friends. My sister and I are close. → We are close.
