Grammar Focus

Use plural nouns when there is more than one thing. Most plural nouns add -s, some add -es. Use the Present Simple for things people do often or regularly.

Usage Examples

Plurals (-s)— fork → forks plate → plates glass → glasses

Plurals (-es)— dish → dishes tomato → tomatoes

Irregular— knife → knives person → people child → children

Habits— I cook with friends. We share food.

He/She/It— He eats pasta. She cooks.
